Huilo Huilo has been on the UNESCO World Heritage list since 2006.



This place has hundred-years-old tree which up to more than 40 meters high. Of course, the reserve is ecological oriented, with an approach of preservation of the flora and fauna. That won public admiration and rewards by the National Geographic and the Virgin Holidays Responsible Tourism Awards 2012.



Here, is living stag beetles, the golden butterfly, the chucao, the pudu, the toad Darwin, the puma and the condor, the kodkod, Magellan fox, and the Monito del Monte (the most primitive marsupial). The biological reserve proposes forty-excursions: trekking, horse rides, mountain bike trails, sailing, activities in the canopy, kayak, fishing, baths in the warm sources etc. Each guide is from local communities.

There are also small glaciers and three volcanoes.
